Mother Like God: Matthew 13:33
The feminine and maternal imagery and concepts for God that the scriptures offer are often overlooked, but if we open ourselves up to them, we open ourselves to a whole new dimension of spiritual nourishment. Pastor Rob and Marci Leveridge discuss motherhood, parenting, healing and self-discovery in this episode.
Jesus was always a guest. On the night of the last supper, he reminded everyone that he was also a host. Before the world was shut down, many of us had a terribly dysfunctional relationship with hospitality. it has become easy to neglect hospitality all together and keep to our selves. People are experiencing more and more isolation in their life. On the other hand, those who wish to get together they want to activate fellowship. We feel the impression to extravagant and be a great host. we all want to be judge favorably and praised. Now, we realize how much we need each other and how simple true presence truly is and has always been. We don't need to be extravagant, we need to be present. On Holy Thursday we commemorate friendships, bonds, simplicity, and services for one another. we remember simply a community that Jesus is still calling us toward.
